Who We Are
Walcot Upholstery was established in 1973 by Tony Hook, who was joined by his son Gary in 1978. Together they ran a successful business mainly concentrating on the re-upholstery of commissioned pieces.
The original founder Tony, retired in 2000 and in the same year Simon Watson joined as a partner. Gary and Simon decided to develop the business further by offering re-upholstered period pieces for sale, whilst continuing with commissioned work. This has proven to be extremely popular and as a consequence, in May 2004, a showroom was opened just a short walk from the
original workshop. The workshop and showroom are all now on one site at 6 Cleveland Terrace.
